Writing Jamb This Saturday? You Must Read This!

This article is an embodiment of facts to motivate you, figures to excite you, tips to help you and things to avoid. All in effort to ensure you score high in tomorrows JAMB exams.

It is appalling that the statistics of annual applicants to the University Matriculation Examination remained on the increase, over a million, with about 40% increase on a yearly basis.

Beginning from tomorrow, April 27th, yet another set of over one million Nigerian school-leavers will be contesting for limited available spaces in our varsities. The question is, who is going to win or lose out in this race? Time will tell.

A recent analysis revealed that about 50% of the total number of applicants pass JAMB yearly, but do the same amount get into the universities in the country? The answer is NO.

In this article, i have decided to enlighten the lucky JAMBites on what to do and of course, what to avoid as you take the exam.

1.  Read harder and even harder!

2.  Discover your problem areas and devote more time to them.

3.  Do not waste your time searching for fake answers on the internet.

4.  Read past questions and see how questions are answered.

5.  Test yourself on speed, accuracy and otherwise.

6.  You should have already located your exam center by today!

7.  If your center is far, you should make arrangements to be there early

8.  Take heed to all instructions, in other words, do not go into the exam hall with any illegal materials.

9.  Start with question/subjects you know well, be time conscious.

10.  Before you submit your scripts, make sure you shade all un-attempted questions at random.

NOTE: The issue of missing results is always as a result of wrong shading of names and registration number. Be sure to avoid this. Success to y'all!
